WWE Superstars visit North Carolina National Guard Armory

Reported by Ernest I Aguilar Zevallos
WWE crew visited the North Carolina National Guard Armory in Fayetteville yesterday with more than 50 soldiers, friends and family getting a "one-of-a-kind" visit.

Mark Henry, Jinder Mahal, Hornswoggle and AJ Lee were on hand to tour the Armory and also to take photos and sign autographs with the military personnel.

"Sergeant has put me to test today with the push-ups and PT, and I failed," Hornswoggle told Staff Sgt. Kyle Richardson, who was in charge of writing the report. "But hey, there's always next time. But everyone has been very thankful that we've come here, but it's actually us that's thankful, to show them how much we appreciate what they do for our country."

After the tour concluded the four moved to the hall to take photos with the cadets and to talk about tonight's tapings of Tribute to the Troops.

"If I was not on the Tribute to the Troops, I would ask to. Anybody in the company, I've never heard anyone say they don't want to do this," the World Heavyweight champion Mark Henry said.

Lt. Col. Maury Williams, recruiting and retention battalion commander for the North Carolina National Guard, appreciated WWE's visit to the Armory and called it an honor to be recognized by WWE.

"We're just happy to be here today," he said.
