    August 1, 1987 – Superdome Extravaganza in New Orleans, LA at The Superdome: Shane Douglas b Gary Young, Davey Haskins b Mike Boyette, Terry Gordy b Angel of Death, Terry Taylor b Steve Cox, Barry Windham b Shaska Whatley, Rick Steiner b Chris Adams in a “Taped Fist” match by KO in the 5th round, Sting b The Enforcer, Tim Horner and Brad Armstrong b The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane) by Disqualification, Dusty Rhodes and Steve Williams b Eddie Gilbert and Dick Murdoch in a “Double Bullrope” match, The Freebirds (Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts) b Black Bart and Bubba Rogers and The Terminator in a “Steel Cage First Blood Elimination” match (Terry Gordy was the sole survivor).
