Team Faber picks up second win

Michael Chiesa of Team Faber took on Jeremy Larsen of Team Cruz. Chiesa's father had passed away after the first week of fights. Michael was given a weekend to go back home and be with family and friends and bury his father before he returned to the TUF house.

Round 1: 
Michael Chiesa started to work for a take-down right from the beginning and got it 45 seconds into the round. Chiesa with some elbows from the top as he is trying to advance his position. Larsen is working hard from the bottom trying to get back to his feet. Larsen is able to get to his feet a lands a few punches from in the clinch. Chiesa is vying for another takedown and knees Larsen in the head as he is down on one knee. Chiesa has a point deducted and Larsen is given an opportunity to clear the cob webs. Chiesa gets a second take down in the round and constantly trying to advance his position or land shots. Chiesa also attempts a guillotine and anaconda choke but Larsen does a good Job of defending and is in no danger.

Round 2:
More of the same this round is getting going. Chiesa fighting to get the fight to the ground and Larsen trying to stay in the clinch against the fence to land knees and some dirty boxing. Chiesa gets them to the ground but can't keep Larsen down. Larsen with two minutes left is swing for the fences now and lands a couple big shots that may have stunned Chiesa. Chiesa gets the fight back to the ground. He has Larsen's back with both hooks in from a sitting position trying to sink in a rear naked choke as the fight comes to a close.

Michael Chiesa took the unanimous decision after two rounds.

Team Faber is now even with Team Cruz at 2 wins a piece. With the win Urijah Faber has the pick chooses Chris Tickle of Team Cruz to fight Joe Proctor next week.

Also Dana White has announced that featherweights Jonathan Brookins has verbally agreed to take on Charles Oliveira on the TUF Live finale and that the main event will be made up of Martin "The Hitman" Kampmann against Jake "The Juggernaut" Ellenberger in a welterweight clash.
