Smackdown TV Report 11/18/11

Reported by Ernest I Aguilar Zevallos
The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Bridgeport Connecticut. The show begins with Mark Henry choking Daniel Bryan in the backstage area. Henry eventually drags Bryan to the ring and continues the assault. Bryan tries to fight back and lands a few kicks, but Henry flattens him almost immediately. Henry finishes Bryan off with a big splash and the World's Strongest Slam.

Mark Henry grabs a mic and talks about the pain he just delivered to Daniel Bryan, and the pain he has delivered to so many others, starting with the Big Show. The Big Show was the first inductee into the Hall of Pain, but now Henry doesn't think he caused the Big Show enough pain. Mark Henry promises that he will retain his title, and that the Big Show will not be able to walk out of the arena.

Match #1: Sin Cara versus Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero.

Before the match, Vickie screams EXCUSE ME and then introduces her client Dolph as the only man competing in TWO matches this Sunday at Survivor Series. He'll be competing in the traditional 10 man survivor series elimination match, and defending his US title against John Morrison as well.

Match #2: Jack Swagger versus Mason Ryan.

This match apparently started during the break. This isn't a live show, so I think it's pretty lame that we're missing the start of a match. Ryan hits Swagger with a clothesline. Swagger pushes Ryan into the corner then chop blocks his knee. Swagger hits Ryan with a corner slingshot splash and goes for a cover but gets only two.

Swagger lands a series of punches and kicks, beating Ryan down in the corner. Swagger locks up Ryan's arms in another potential submission move. In the back, Zack Ryder is trying to get Alicia Fox and Justin Gabriel to sign his petition for another US title shot. The Big Show enters all smiles and agrees to sign Zack's petition; he even says 'woo woo woo, you know it.'

Alicia, Justin and Zack all look a little uncomfortable. Big Show asks what the problem is, and they tell him that earlier tonight Mark Henry assaulted Daniel Bryan and then called out the Big Show. Big Show goes off looking for Mark Henry.

Christian makes his way to the ring on crutches while wearing a neck brace. Christian explains that he hurt his neck a couple weeks ago after being choke slammed by the Big Show, and that he hurt his ankle last week against Sheamus. Christian tells us that he could have run away, but instead fought like a man! Although Christian claims to deserve one more match, he's not sure if he's going to have one more match at all.

Despite his injuries, Christian promises to give his team mates moral support and inspire them to victory. The crowd boos Christian the entire time. Eventually, Christian asks if they even care that he's injured and they all scream NO! Christian is disgusted by their lack of compassion.

In the locker room, AJ is trying to comfort Daniel Bryan. The Big Show enters the room and apologized to Bryan for not being there when Henry attacked him. Big Show goes off looking for Mark Henry.

Jinder says something to Big Show in Hindi, and it looked like it was probably something sarcastic. Big Show asks Jinder if he would like to repeat that in English; Jinder laughs and says "no." The Big Show knocks Jinder out as Tyson Kidd walks sheepishly away.

Smackdown TV Report 11/11/11

Reported by Ernest I Aguilar

The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Liverpool England. The show opens with a tribute to the Veterans in honor of Veterans Day (Remembrance Day here in Canada). After a brief recap of Randy Orton's match last week with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton makes his way to the ring.

Randy tells us that Teddy Long has asked him to Captain a team at Survivor Series. Randy told Teddy that he doesn't play well with others and has done something horrible to ruin every team he's ever been on. But Randy also tells us that while he's never been a leader, he's damn sure not a follower, so he agreed to Captain a team at Survivor Series.

Randy tells us he has no problem beating up anyone from the other team, when he is suddenly interrupted by Wade Barrett, the Captain of the other SmackDown team. Wade tells us Randy does have a big problem with Wade Barrett, because Wade is a natural born leader, whereas Randy is a predator that no one would ever trust.

Wade says his winning streak, the "Barrett Barrage" will continue at Survivor Series and beyond until Barrett becomes Champion. Wade asks Randy if he's paying attention, and Randy says that he was not, and was instead imagining Wade's head bouncing off the canvas after an RKO.

Christian then interrupts Orton and declares that Randy will be the Yoko Ono of his team. Christian claims that he would have been the captain of his Survivor Series team, but agreed to step aside and let Barrett lead because of Christian's injuries. Christian is wearing a neck brace that he claims he needs after being choke slammed by the Big Show last week.

Christian claims he and Barrett are both natural leaders and that everyone on their team is equal. Randy cuts Christian off and attacks him. Wade and Christian double team Orton until Sheamus comes to the rescue. Sheamus and Orton throw Christian and Barrett out of the ring. Teddy Long comes out and says he can see Christian's neck is fine, so tonight he will have to wrestle Sheamus. Teddy also announces that the main event tonight will be Wade Barrett versus Randy Orton.

When we return, Daniel Bryan is in the back talking to AJ and Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn and AJ are surprised that Daniel Bryan almost cashed in his Money in the Bank contract last week, but Bryan explains that he was disoriented at the time. They both seem to like Bryan and wished he had become champion last week.

Mark Henry interrupts their conversation and asks Bryan if he thinks it's that easy to become champ, you just cash in a contract? Henry reminds Bryan that it took him 15 years to win his first World Title. Bryan responds that he earned his contract by winning the Money in the Bank ladder match, and that if he Henry is still champ at WrestleMania, he will beat him.

Henry says he admires Bryan's guts; and then promises to spill his guts all over the ring. That would definitely jeopardize their PG rating.

In the back, Teddy Long and Aksana are talking about Aksana's first time. Aksana and Teddy both agree that her first time should be special, so Teddy doesn't want her to compete tonight. (the 'first time' I was referring to was her first match. I think the other thing you were thinking of probably happened a long time ago.)

Instead, Teddy wants her to watch someone with more experience first. So Teddy has arranged for Aksana to be in Alicia Fox's corner for her match tonight with Tamina. Aksana mistakenly believes Alicia is the singer Rihanna and starts singing that awful umbrella song.

Henry throws Bryan backwards over his head and then hits him with a pair of headbutts. Henry lands another punch and a kick before dragging Bryan to the middle of the ring. Henry hits Bryan with a big splash and goes for a cover, but pulls Bryan back up before the ref can count to three. Bryan waves Henry on, asking for more, and Henry hits him with the World's Strongest Slam for the win.

After the match, Henry brings a chair into the ring. Bryan kicks the chair out of Mark Henry's hands and hits him with it. Henry seems more angry than hurt and he hits Bryan with another World's Strongest Slam and another big splash. Henry grabs the chair again and puts Bryan's leg in it.

Before Henry can break Bryan's leg, the Big Show comes to the rescue. Henry is able to keep Big Show out of the ring with the chair, and then Henry hits Bryan with the chair. Big Show climbs to the edge of the ring apron and Henry attacks him with the chair. Big Show punches the chair out of Henry's hands and Henry backs out of the ring.

Henry left his title in the ring and the Big Show picks it up before throwing it back to Henry. Big Show tells Henry there's nothing impressive about beating up someone half your size; if Henry wants to see something impressive, he should watch Big Show's next match.

Commercial

Match #4: Big Show versus 3 jobbers from Liverpool.

Predictable squash. The three jobbers gain early advantage and get the Big Show down to one knee. The Big Show quickly turns things around and chops them all down. Big Show also lands a couple headbutts and then choke slams 2 of the jobbers at the same time. The 3rd jobber decided to run away, but the Big Show chases him down.

Somehow, this fit young man was unable to out run the Big Show. Really? I would be willing to bet that a 70 year old crippled midget could outrun the Big Show while running backwards. I'm starting to think some of this stuff might be fake.

After the match, Henry says he was not impressed. Henry says the Big Show should have been impressed last week when Henry hit him with the World's Strongest Slam. He also thinks the Big Show should have been impressed when he put him out of action for 4 months. At Survivor Series, Henry promises to make a lasting impression on the Big Show.

In the back, Matt Striker is asking Sheamus about his temper. Sheamus responds that he has no temper; he's really just a nice guy that likes hanging out with his Muppet cousin, Beaker. Striker plays some footage of Sheamus assaulting Wade Barrett and Christian in the back stage area and points out that when someone crosses him, Sheamus has a mean streak. Sheamus stares angrily and intensely at Striker for a long time, and then smiles and says "let's just say I'm spirited."

Hunico lands several punches and then slams Jimmy into the corner. Hunico and Epico land double team Jimmy in the corner and Hunico tags in Epico. Epico lands a leaping kick to Jimmy, but Jimmy is able to backdrop Epico and tag in Jey. Jey hits Epico with a corkscrew forearm and then the running ass to the face. (Ass to face is OK, as long as it's not ass to mouth)

Primo hits Jey with a cheap shot that the ref never saw. Hunico capitalizes on the distraction and hits Jey with a suplex and then finishes him off with a senton bomb for the win.

Commercial

Match #7: Randy Orton versus Wade Barrett.

The two men lock up in the center of the ring and Orton eventually pushes Barrett to the corner and breaks cleanly. Natalya catches the last kick, but then Alicia kicks her in the head with her free leg.

Natalya goes down and Alicia hits her with a somersault leg drop for the win. The announce team seemed to be in agreement that this move was a "scissor kick" despite the fact that it wasn't really a kick at all. WWE is a lot better than TNA, but TNA has a great announce team in Taz and Mike Tenay, and they actually call matches. The incompetent Michael Cole does his best to make TNA look good every chance he gets.

When we return, the Big Show has walked to the ring to talk about his recent match with Mark Henry. Big Show says that he and Henry have unfinished business, and if they don't get it resolved, he will knock Henry out every week until it does get resolved.

Christian interrupts, but claims he is just early for his match with Sheamus and means no disrespect to the Big Show. Then Christian decides to confront Big Show about Show's request for a rematch for the Heavyweight title. Christian doesn't think Show deserves another match because he had his shot and didn't get the job done. Christian on the other hand claims that he NEEDS one more match because as everyone knows, he keeps getting screwed over.

Christian also seems disgusted that Show is threatening to knock people out every week, which is something a Southerner would do. (The show tonight is in South Carolina) Christian then explains that he's CANADIAN, (so am I, as of October 20th!) and we Canadians do things a little differently.

Christian insists he COULD come out and knock people out every week, but he's too good a person to do that. Just then Big Show picks up his fist and Christian retreats, exclaiming that this is how Big Show solves everything, by knocking people out. Big Show laughs and says he was just scratching his chin, and he promises he has no intention of knocking Christian out. Christian seems to relax a little, and then Big Show choke slams him.

Sheamus again goes for the Celtic Cross but this time is distracted by Christian, who seems to have miraculously recovered.

Wade comes up behind Sheamus and rolls him up for the win. Sheamus goes after Wade at the conclusion of the match, but is speared by Christian. Wade and Christian walk back to the locker room triumphant and holding hands. (Sadly, it didn't seem as gay as it sounds. They were holding their hands up in the air, victoriously.)

Commercial

In the locker room, Big Show offers to be in Daniel Bryan's corner tonight for his match against the Big Show.

Henry picks Bryan up to slam him, but Bryan counters and puts Henry in a Dragon Sleeper. Henry slams Bryan into the corner and then to the floor.

Bryan gets back in the ring; Henry hits him with a punch, a kick, and a clubbing blow to the back before knocking him to the floor again. Henry goes out after Bryan and presses his head against the steel ring post. Big Show comes over to confront Henry but doesn't attack. The distraction allows Bryan to get free, but only to get hit again and rolled back into the ring. Henry slams Bryan hard into the corner and then steps on his chest.

Bryan is in the ropes so the ref breaks it up. Bryan lands a couple stiff kicks, then a couple more. Bryan lands a series of kicks to Henry's legs, and then dropkicks him in the knees, taking the big man down. Bryan follows up with a wicked kick to the head that drops Mark Henry and Henry looks out cold. Bryan goes for a cover but Henry kicks out and sends Bryan out to the floor again.

Henry does it again and the ref tells him that's enough as Bryan looks hurt. Henry hits Bryan with a third big splash and Bryan drops to the mat barely conscious.

Big Show enters the ring and knocks Henry out with a big right hand, causing Bryan to lose by disqualification. Big Show grabs the still groggy Bryan and rolls him into the ring with his Money in the Bank Briefcase, telling him to cash it in now. Show says Henry is out and Bryan can win the title from Henry RIGHT NOW if he just cashes in the contract.

Bryan looks confused, but does go after Mark Henry. Unfortunately for Bryan, Henry has already started to regain consciousness and hits Bryan with the World's Strongest Slam. Then Henry grabs Bryan's briefcase and clocks the Big Show with it, and then picks the Big Show up and hits him with the World's Strongest Slam.

Mark Henry then falls to the mat himself and rolls out to the floor, still appearing very woozy. All three men appear dazed as Teddy Long comes out to the entrance ramp. Teddy Long announces that at Survivor Series, the Big Show will get his rematch with Mark Henry for the heavyweight title. As SmackDown comes to a close, the semi-conscious Big Show smiles and the very groggy Mark Henry looks mad.

Smackdown TV Report 10/28/11

Reported by Earnest I Aguilar  Zevallos

The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Houston Texas. The show begins with a recap of the ring collapsing during the recent title match between Mark Henry and the Big Show. Teddy Long is in the middle of the ring and assures us the title picture will be addressed later tonight.

Teddy is interrupted by Christian, who, obviously, wants one more match for the WWE Championship. Christian acknowledges that the match between Big Show and Mark Henry was historic; as in "it's history." As far as Christian is concerned, Big Show had his shot and didn't get the job done, so Christian thinks he should get the next shot, because he has dominated SmackDown for the last 5 months.

Teddy reminds Christian that he just lost to Sheamus this past Sunday. Christian still thinks he deserves another title shot, but is interrupted by Raw's CM Punk! Christian wants to know why Punk is here, and Teddy explains that since SmackDown superstars have been appearing on Raw lately as part of the Raw "Supershow" Teddy has arranged for some Raw stars to appear on SmackDown's "Supershow."

Punk finally gets his chance to speak and says he's glad to be on a show with competent leadership, taking a shot at John Laurinaitis on Raw. He says John makes Teddy look like FDR, and then says that's not exactly a compliment. Christian thinks Punk is a joke, and reminds everyone that he hijacked the WWE and left with the World title. Punk replies that he's a fan of Christian's wrestling, he's just sick of hearing him bitching every time he opens his mouth. Every time Christian opens his mouth Punk repeats the word "bitching."

Christian then says that as the leader of SmackDown, he's telling Punk to leave, because no one wants him here. Punk seems to accept this and sadly agrees that no one wants him here, so he might as well just leave. The crowd chants CM PUNK loudly and CM Punk stops and says "Oh wait, I think over 10,000 people here in Houston want me here, and I bet they want to see me in a match with you here tonight." Teddy Long agrees and makes the match for the main event later tonight.

After the match, Truth and Miz tell the crowd they shouldn't boo them ,they should boo themselves. They boast about all the people they have beaten lately, including John Cena. Cena recently picked the Rock to be his tag team partner against Miz and Truth at Survivor Series, and Miz and Truth promise that if the Rock and Cena don't kill each other before the match even starts, then they'll finish the job.

Commercial

When we return, some of the SmackDown superstars are watching the new Shawn Michaels' and Bret Hart DVD. Daniel Bryan is talking about training with Shawn Michaels when Tyson Kidd interrupts to say he was trained at the Hart family dungeon. Tyson insists Brett was the better wrestler, and Bryan insists HBK was. Santino Marella tells them should settle their argument with a match, and they both agree.

In the back, Hornswoggle is dressed up like Zach Ryder and is doing a "fist bump." Apparently Hornswoggle is filling in for Zach after the beating Zach received from Miz and Truth last week.

Vickie Guerrero and her clients, US Champ Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger enter Teddy's office. Dolph tells Teddy that even though Teddy tried to screw him by making him wrestle in 2 title matches at Vengeance, he's still the US champ. Teddy says he wasn't trying to screw Dolph at Vengeance, just like he's not screwing him now by making him wrestle Randy Orton later tonight.

Jack Swagger tells Dolph to relax, they can handle this, but Teddy tells him he can't handle anything because he's banned from ringside. Vickie is outraged and Hornswoggle is mimicking Zach Ryder's "woo woo woo". Teddy is again interrupted, this time by Aksana. Aksana and Teddy walk off to Teddy's office to "talk."

Michael Cole stands on the announce table and announces that he'll quit if JR beats him. He said a lot of other crap to, I just don't care. It would be nice if he quit though. Even if it's just a storyline quitting and he's only gone for a few weeks, that would be a nice little break from the boring painful crap he has been forcing on us for far too long now.

Smackdown TV Report 10/14/11

Reported by Earnest I Aguilar
The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Dallas Texas. The show opens with Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis walking to the ring to announce that Smackdown is now the second longest running episodic show in TV history, second only to Raw. They tell us that tonight's historic episode will feature the largest battle royal in WWE history; and the winner will get a shot at the title of their choice.

Match #1: 41 man battle royal.

All battle royals start off badly; there are too many people doing too many things at once for any of it to mean anything to the viewer. This one did start off with one major surprise though; Cody Rhodes was the FIRST man eliminated! Cody was eliminated before any of the NXT rookies, before Santino, before ANYONE.

After TWO commercial breaks the battle royal is still going strong. The Miz and R Truth are teaming up. Mason Ryan military press slams Justin Gabriel out of the ring, and is then eliminated by Wade Barrett.

Sheamus eliminates Zach Ryder, David Otunga, Jay Uso, Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, and Sin Cara Negro, one after the other in about a minute. Christian tries to eliminate his rival Sheamus, but Sheamus eliminates Christian to. Christian gets revenge by re-entering the fray and eliminating Sheamus.

CM Punk eliminates R Truth and is then eliminated himself. Punk and Truth brawl outside the ring as the battle royal continues. Randy Orton eliminates Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, and Jinder Mahal after hitting each of them with an RKO.

The Miz nearly throws Orton over the top, but Orton stays in the ring. Miz beats Orton down and then hits him with knee lifts to the face. After an Irish Whip, Orton hits Miz with a pair of powerslams and a scoop power slam. Randy goes for an RKO but Orton tries to counter with the Skull Crushing Finale. Randy counters the Miz and tries to throw him out, but they both end up on the edge of the ring apron just outside the ropes.

The two men exchange punches and eventually Orton hits Miz with an RKO, causing them both to hit the mat and bounce to the floor. The refs declare Orton the winner and the replay shows that the Miz' feet did hit first. Randy Orton wins the largest battle royal in history and earns a championship match of his choosing; he chooses Mark Henry and the World Heavyweight title.

Commercial

When we return, Alberto Del Rio appears to be leaving and is confronted by GM Teddy Long. Alberto says Orton chose to fight for Henry's title, not Alberto's, so he's going home. Alberto thinks Orton is probably afraid to face him, because he knows he would lose. Smackdown Report TV 9/30/11

Reported by Ernest I Aguilar

The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Randy Orton's home town, St. Louis Missouri. The show begins with Booker T in the middle of the ring introducing World Champion Mark Henry. Booker is here to interview Henry, and he congratulates Henry on his first World Title. Henry thinks Booker, a 6 time champ, is insulting Henry by emphasizing that this is his FIRST title.

Booker T insists he meant no insult and that if he had, Henry would know it. Henry says if he put Booker through the announce table, he would know it. Henry then says that thankfully for Booker, he's here for Orton, not Booker T. Henry tells us that he will induct Randy Orton into his "Hall of Pain" just like he did to the Undertaker, Kane, and Jerry Lawler.

Booker T asks why Henry can't just be the best champion he can be, and not keep on trying to end people's careers. Henry orders Booker to lower his town, and then explains that he tried being positive for 15 years and it got him nowhere. Booker asks if Henry is worried about getting hit with an RKO and Henry says if Randy could have hit him with it, he would have by now. He can't RKO Henry, and he can't beat him either.

Henry tells us he's also going to beat the Great Khali tonight and calls him out.

HHH is angry about the secret meeting with the Superstars that are planning a lawsuit. John responds that as VP of talent relations, he's like a buffer between the talent and the COO, but insists he is 100% loyal.

HHH says he's glad to hear that, because if he can't trust his employees, all he can do is "wish them well in their future endeavors." As HHH leaves, John does some more evil texting.
