Former WWE champion CM Punk paid tribute to Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero yesterday during the RAW live event in El Paso, Texas.
Standing alone in the ring after his match against Alberto Del Rio, Punk first thanked the sold out crowd for coming to see them and said everyone in the back appreciates them.
Then, on his knees, Punk said, "When I think of El Paso, I think about one man," as fans started to chant "Eddie, Eddie." He then explained that in his twisted brain he believes that a person doesn't ever die if the people he or she touched continue to spread their legacy.
"Eddie Guerrero is a great man, so right now I don't want to hear CM Punk. You know the name I wanna hear," concluded Punk as he kissed the middle of the ring.
