Tyson Tomko checks himself into WWE-sponsored rehab

Reported by Ernest I Aguilar

Tyson Tomko finally posted bail this past Thursday and left jail after he was arrested on October 10 and charged with robbery.

The former WWE and TNA wrestler was booked after cops found him inside a bathroom of a local Chili's restaurant following a robbery of a CVS Pharmacy earlier that day. He stole 210 tablets of the pain killer Oxycodone and injected 170 of them after they were crushed.

His attorney, James McCune, told the St. Augustine Record newspaper that he'll be heading to the WWE-sponsored rehab immediatley.

"He's very grateful for all the support he's received from his friends, family and fans around the world. Mr. Tomko realizes he is struggling with an addiction and with the support of his family and the WWE, he is voluntarily checking himself into an undisclosed treatment facility to receive the help he needs for a successful recovery."
