ESPN.COM has a link on the front page to an article by Bill Simmons hosted on grantland.com, talking about his recent angle with John Cena and Vince McMahon, the enormous pop he received at the Money in the Bank, winning the WWE title and much more.
"As Punk crouched, followed by the music ratcheting back up as Punk cupped his hands and screamed...and the crowd exploding a second time as Punk pumped his fist. You can't bang out a wrestling entrance much better than that," wrote Simmons, discussing the entrance theme and grand entrance of Punk in Chicago on that Sunday night.
The article transitions into music and theme songs used at wrestling shows, noting the best and the worst. Pretty good article and good WWE exposure on the front page of ESPN.COM.
Thanks to W-O Newsletter reader Bruce Lajeunesse for the heads up about the story which you can read here. |
