Lilian Garcia to sing America The Beautiful at WrestleMania

With Flo Rida and Machine Gun Kelly already announced to perform at WrestleMania, there was one more artist yet to be announced, the artist who would be picking up the duty to open the show and sing America The Beautiful.

It has been a tradition that WrestleMania opens with the America The Beautiful song rather than the national anthem, and several artists such as Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Michelle Williams, Boys II Men, Nicole Scherzinger and others were all tasked with the important job of kicking off the show.

This year, WWE looked at their talent in house and has trusted the mighty voice of Smackdown ring announcer Lilian Garcia to take the job.

"When I got the news this morning, I screamed," she told WWE.com. "I even teared up, I'm so thrilled."

Garcia usually kicks off WWE shows by singing the national anthem and her powerful and emotional rendition of the anthem during the first show after the 9/11 tragedy on Smackdown earned her major props from everyone who saw the show.
