| Reported by Ernest I Aguilar WWE is planning to release movies that will hit theaters in the United States on DVD at the same time internationally, followed by a home video release in the U.S. shortly after they end their theatrical run. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon explained the situation during the conference call held with investors on Thursday saying that they don't want to spend more money to promote the same movie twice. WWE Studios are producing a total of nine back-to-back movies with budgets around the $5 million mark according to Variety. The first of those nine to be released is titled "Legendary," out on September 10 followed by "Knucklehead" on October 24 and "Eighth Grade," out early next year. The company right now is filming its fourth movie with Triple H titled "Inside Out," formerly known as "Killing Karma." |
