August 26, 2006 – NWA Upstate – 3rd Annual Upstate-8 Tag Team Tournament in Rochester, New York before 500 fans: The Roadies (Sammy Dunn and Dave Marcos) b Chris Hero and Chip Stetson in the Quarter Finals, Up In Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy) b The Star Foundation (John McChesney and Sterling James Keenan) in the Quarter Finals, Trent Acid and Teddy Fine b Team F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma and Icarus) in the Quarter Finals, Rhythm and Booze (Frank the Tank and Buddy Delmar) b Teddy Hart and Ruckus in the Quarter Finals, Chip Stetson was inducted into the Rochester Wrestling Hall of Fame (After the induction, Stetson was attacked by former best friend Hellcat his nephew Johnny Kayfabe), Jimmy Olsen won the Rochester Rumble Battle Royal to earn a title shot, The Roadies (Sammy Dunn and Dave Marcos) b Up In Smoke (Cheech and Cloudy) in the Semi-Finals (also winning the NWAU tag titles), Rhythm and Booze (Frank the Tank and Buddy Delmar) b Trent Acid and Teddy Fine in the Semi-Finals, Brodie Lee b Jimmy Olsen to retain the NWA-U Heavyweight title (After the match, Brodie turned on Olsen, saying he did nothing to deserve a title shot). The Roadies (Sammy Dunn and Dave Marcos) b Rhythm and Booze (Frank the Tank and Buddy Delmar) in the Finals to win the 2006 Upstate-8 and win the NWAU Tag Team titles.
