Big pay day for Brock Lesnar at UFC 91

It was a good pay day for Brock Lesnar yesterday as the new UFC Heavyweight champion walked out of the MGM Grand with the UFC title and $450,000. According to the LA Times, Couture and Lesnar were given a quarter of a million dollars each for their fight plus bonuses. Lesnar pocketed an additional $200,000 for his win. If Couture won the fight he would have received an additional $250,000, $50,000 more from Brock Lesnar's win bonus. Lesnar won the UFC title in only his fourth MMA fight - and third in the UFC - which ironically is the same thing that happened to Randy Couture when he won the UFC Heavyweight title for the first time back in 1997.
