CM Punk to walk with Chael Sonnen at UFC on FOX in Chicago

Ariel Helwani from MMAFighting.com is reporting that WWE champion CM Punk will be walking down to the Octagon with UFC's Chael Sonnen for the UFC on FOX show at the United Center in Chicago on January 28.

Helwani adds that Punk will not be in the corner of Sonnen - another Chicago native - for his fight against Mark Munoz but will simply escort him to the cage and then go back. Several WWE Superstars are UFC fans and are often at pay-per-views.

The deal seems to be done between the two and does not involve either the UFC or WWE in official negotiations. It is interesting to note that the fight will happen one day before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view so maybe WWE will get some free publicity with Punk being there
