TNA planned a segment with Kurt Angle and Super Bowl champion Jason Pierre-Paul from the New York Giants during tonight's IMPACT Wrestling tapings in Orlando, Florida, however the #90 pulled out according to FOX Sports.
The deal was already announced by TNA before everything was signed so the company hustled to get a replacement and found one in Brandon Jacobs, the Giants running back. The two time Super Bowl winner will now be part of the same angle with the Olympic gold medalist.
TNA has used football players in angles in the past including Brian Urlacher from the Chicago Bears, New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott, Kyle Vanden Bosch from the Detroit Lions, former Titans star Frank Wycheck, Adam "Pacman" Jones, and former Dolphins star Bryan Cox.
