WWE Studios announces acquisition of new script

WWE Studios today announced the acquisition of the script "The Chaperone," a kids action comedy about a just released, ex-con dad who unwittingly becomes a chaperone for his teen daughter's class trip to New Orleans, while he is on the run from his old cronies who are trying to kill him. 

This will be the next movie to be shot by the studio in New Orleans, starting in Summer of this year with Triple H tentatively taking the leading role. 

The script was written by S.J. Roth, his first sale after making the transition from a playwright.
