Academy Award winning actress joining Rock's next movie

Academy Award winning actress Susan Sarandon is in final negotiations to join Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's next movie Snitch according to several Hollywood publications.

The story revolves around Johnson's character - a father - whose son is sentenced to thirty years in prison under mandatory minimum drug laws. In order to reduce his son's sentence, he goes undercover to serve up a senior drug dealer.

Sarandon's role will be of a U.S. attorney with a plan to help with the drug bust to move forward her political career.

Ric Roman Waugh is directing the movie which is scheduled to start filming in December.
