Lesnar pleads guilty to hunting charge, pays fine

Through his attorney, former UFC champion Brock Lesnar pleaded guilty for one charge that the Alberta Fish and Wildlife Act filed against him for something he did back in November of last year.

Lesnar was charged for improper affixation of tags, spoilage of skin and edible flesh and possession of a controlled animal however the last two charges were dropped. He was fined a total of $1,725 and was given a six month hunting ban.

Lesnar explained that the incident happened when he was shooting a video for one of his sponsors and he failed to tag one of the two deers that he shot. He added that the whole thing has been resolved and paid his fine.

"I want to thank the Canadian authorities for their cooperation in resolving this misunderstanding. I love Canada and I can't wait to go back to Alberta for a hunt," Lesnar said.
