Last Wednesday, Bloomberg TV profiled WWE during their Bloomberg Enterprise show. The twenty minute segment had interviews with WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon, his daughter Stephanie McMahon and son-in-law Triple H.
McMahon talked about the WWE revenues, the live event experience and when the topic of competitors came up, McMahon said, "Do we have a competitor?"
The interviewer said that there are companies competing with WWE and McMahon said that Ted Turner and Time Warner tried to compete but obviously failed.
"We don't consider ourselves a wrestling company. We are an entertainment company," McMahon said.
It's an interesting behind-the-scenes look at WWE although nothing earth shattering. Bloomberg posted the full segment online which you can see below.
