McMahon to go to Afghanistan with Kingston, Bellas to visit troops

Reported By Ernest Aguilar

For the second year in a row, the Tributes show will not be going to a war zone but rather staying Stateside with tapings held at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, 11 miles away from Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

However, a small group of WWE staffers - including WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, Kofi Kingston, Brie and Nikki Bella - will be traveling to Afghanistan to visit the troops. Footage from their short trip will be shown during the multiple showings of the Tributes show on NBC and USA Network.

Last year WWE taped the annual Tributes show in Fort Hood, Texas, while the previous seven years they were held in Iraq and Afghanistan.
