The St. Petersberg Times is reporting that Hulk Hogan filed a civil suit against his ex-wife Linda yesterday saying that she lied and defamed him in her book "Wrestling The Hulk: My Life Against The Ropes."
In the book, Linda writes that the former WWE champion abused her physically, choking her and dragging her by the hair and her clothes. During interviews to market the book, Linda also repeatedly said that Hogan had homosexual encounters with Brutus Beefcake while he was on the road.
Hulk, who claims that the words are false and have harmed his reputation and his business, is demanding a jury trial.
"Miss Bollea's made enough of these outrageous allegations that it's time they stop," Hogan's attorney said. "The only realistic way of making them stop is through the court system."
