The Wrestling Observer and PWInsider.com are both reporting that WWE is in last minute negotiations to bring Brock Lesnar to WrestleMania this Sunday as a surprise appearance.
Apparently UFC President Dana White commented that Lesnar is legally able to appear at the show as he no longer is under contract to the UFC, leaving Lesnar no obstacles.
If the company is successful in bringing Brock Lesnar to WrestleMania it will probably be a guarantee that he will be involved in next year's mega event in New Jersey. Last week, when The Rock was asked about Lesnar being possible opponent at WrestleMania 29, The Rock laughed and said that he didn't say anything.
The former UFC Heavyweight champion had his last fight for the UFC in December, losing the number one contender fight for the UFC Heavyweight title against Alister Overeem. After the fight was over - which Lesnar lost in the first minutes of the first round - Lesnar announced that he is retiring from mixed martial arts.
Brock last wrestled for the WWE at WrestleMania XX, losing to Goldberg in a match refereed by Steve Austin. He has never appeared on WWE television since then but has negotiated a deal with WWE and THQ to have his character in the new WWE '12 video game.
