WWE raises thousands for cancer center at WrestleMania Premiere Party

Reported by Earnest Aguilar

Practically all the WWE Superstars and Divas were in attendance yesterday for the WrestleMania Premiere Party which was held on Star Island to benefit Alex's Place at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Miami philanthropist Stuart Miller, Grammy Award-winning artist Timbaland, and scores of other athletes and celebrities took part in the event to help raise funds for the 3,200-square-foot pediatric hematology-oncology clinic which is set to open later this spring in Miami.

"WWE is all about giving back, and that's what we want to do here all week long during WrestleMania Week. We want to give back to the community," said WWE's Executive Vice President of Creative, Stephanie McMahon.

There was also a live charity auction, which showcased works from local artists and fashion by celebrity designer Charlie Lapson. WWE Divas Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly, The Bellas and Eve modeled outfits from top designers alongside Miami Dolphins cheerleaders and all of the outfits, jewelry and accessories that the models wore on the runway, were auctioned off and raised thousands for the cause.

You can see twelve photos from last night's event where everyone was looking at their very best below.
