Sting signs new deal with TNA Wrestling

ormer WCW and TNA World champion Sting has signed a new one year deal with TNA Wrestling much to the satisfaction of TNA President Dixie Carter.

"THRILLED to have just signed the new Sting talent contract," Carter wrote on Twitter. "So proud to have him part of the TNA family! Here's to some great times ahead!"

Sting originally signed with TNA in 2003 for a couple of appearances but then went to a full contract in 2006. Last year he was close to signing with WWE for a match against The Undertaker against WrestleMania but eventually changed his mind and re-signed with TNA.

Sting is probably the last person from the WCW crew who during his career has never worked for Vince McMahon.
