Reported by Ernest I Aguilar Zevallos Linda McMahon, the former WWE Chief Executive Officer, is strongly suggesting that she will give Senate another run next year after party insiders revealed that she hired 30 year old Republican strategist Corry Bliss to run her campaign according to the Greenwich Time newspaper. Contacted by the paper, Bliss admitted that he will be working for McMahon and then said that he's not on her payroll yet because she didn't announce her campaign officially. "I am a political consultant who has talked to her," Bliss said. "She has not made up her mind." Bliss worked on several high-profile races in Virginia and Vermont the paper reports and McMahon has already started making calls within the GOP ranks. McMahon lost the 2010 election by 11 percentage points to Democratic state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal after spending $50 million of her own money. The newspaper also says that unlike her first run for office which was entirely self-funded, McMahon is said by GOP insiders to be leaning toward accepting political donations this time. |
