Nick Diaz, who last Saturday fought Carlos Condit for the interim UFC Middlweight title, has tested positive for marijuana metabolites according to Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer.
Diaz is facing months of suspension following this dug test and his planned rematch against Condit is officially out of the plans.
"I am beyond disappointed that he tested positive for marijuana," UFC President Dana White said in a statement issued to the press. "It is now in the hands of the Nevada State Athletic Commission."
