UFC 143 fighter base pay

The Nevada State Athletic Commission has disclosed the list of base salaries from this last weekends UFC 143. The total pay from the event that saw Carlos Condit become the new Interim Welterweight Champion over Nick Diaz was $880,500.

Nick Diaz took home the biggest pay check for $200,000 while Fabricio Werdum, Josh Koscheck and Carlos Condit each made $100,000 or more. These totals do not include any discretionary bonuses, pay per view shares or sponsorship money that may be paid to the fighters. On the other hand it also does not include any deductions for taxes, insurance or licenses. 

UFC 143 base pays are as follows:

Carlos Condit: $110,000 (with a $55,000 win bonus)
def. NicK Diaz: 200,000

Fabricio Werdum: $100,000*
def. Roy Nelson: $20,000*

Josh Koshcheck: $146,000 (with a $73,000 win bonus)
def. Mike Pierce: $20,000

Renan Barao: $22,000 (with a $11,000 win bonus)
def. Scott Jorgenson: $20,500

Ed Herman: $62,000 (with a $31,000 win bonus)
def. Clifford Starks: $8,000

Dustin Poirier: $24,000 (with a $12,000 win bonus)*
def. Max Holloway: $6,000

Edwin Figueroa: $16,000 (with $8,000 win bonus)
def. Alex Caceres: $8,000

Matt Brown: $30,000 (with a $15,000 win bonus)
def. Chris Cope: $8,000

Matt Riddle: $30,000 (with a $15,000 win bonus)
def. Henry Martinez: $6,000

Rafael Natal: $20,000 (with a $10,000 win bonus)
def. Michael Kuiper: $6,000

Stephen Thompson: $12,000 (with a $6,000 win bonus)*
def. Dan Stittgen: $6,000

* Each of these fighters were awarded an additional $65,000. Dustin Poirier for Submission of the Night, Stephen Thompson for Knockout of the Night, Fabricio Werdum and Roy Nelson for putting on the Fight of the Night.
