Ariel Helwani from MMAFighting.com has a 30 minute interview with the current WWE champion CM Punk which was conducted in his own house in Chicago, Illinois.
Punk tackled several subjects but as expected the first one was the proposed walk-out with Sonnen at tomorrow's UFC on Fox 2 event. Punk said the two discussed but unfortunately it "leaked before all the chickens got hatched" and eventually it got shot down by Vince McMahon.
The champ discussed how he met Chael Sonnen through Jerry Brisco and how the two are so much alike. Helwani asked if there's truth to the rumors that he pulled out from the event not to overshadow Sonnen since Chicago is big on Punk. Punk, smiling, said that he "didn't want to overshadow the main event."
