Hogan has surgery to insert electrical spinal cord stimulator

Reported by Earnest I Aguilar Zevallos

Hulk Hogan had surgery to insert an electrical spinal cord stimulator in his back after problems with spasms persisted following two separate stays in the hospital over the past three weeks.

The device is used to exert pulsed electrical signals to the spinal cord to control chronic pain. Hogan will have the cord inserted for a few days as a test to see if it helps with the pain.

"Going for the make it or break it hail Mary," Hogan wrote on Twitter before the procedure.

After he returned home, Hogan posted a short video showing the wires hanging out from his lower back.

His back problems has left him out off TV from TNA and there's no return date set for now.
