UFC President Dana White announced during the post-fights press conference that Brock Lesnar is retiring under contract, meaning that he cannot go anywhere else until a deal is reached to break free.
Apparently Lesnar still had remaining fights as part of his deal and just because he is retiring doesn't mean he can go to WWE or do anything else without either Dana White's permission or else buying out his current contract.
Brock's announcement yesterday following his fight against Alistair Overeem sparked a huge interest online with many non-wrestling news websites and major newspapers covering the story.
Lesnar received $400,000 for his fight against Overeem yesterday while his opponent got almost that amount when you figure out his win bonus.
