Christian was told last week that if he won his tag team match that he would earn another title shot, so he's come prepared with a contract drawn up by his lawyer. Teddy reminds Christian that even though his team was victorious last week, it was Mark Henry that actually won the match by getting the pin; so Mark Henry may end up getting Christian's title shot if he wins his match tonight against current champion Randy Orton.
Match #1: Randy Orton versus Mark Henry.
The two men lock up and Henry picks Orton up and pushes him into the corner. Orton turns Henry into the corner and pummels him repeatedly before being knocked down by the larger Mark Henry. Henry punches Orton, whips him into the ropes, and slams him to the mat again. Henry picks Orton up again but Orton slides out. Henry hits Orton with a big boot and goes for a cover, getting a two count.
Henry steps on, and then stands on, Randy Orton. Orton gets back to his feet and Henry knocks him down again with a headbutt. Henry grabs Orton's head and yells "I'm the champ" and picks Orton up again. Orton slides out and then Henry charges him. Orton dodges Henry's charge and DDT's him. Henry rolls to the floor and Orton pursues.
Henry slams Orton into the ring apron and Orton drops. The Big Show's music hits and Henry turns away from Orton to wait for the Big Show's attack. The Big Show never comes out and Orton RKO's Henry on the floor. Orton rolls back into the ring as the ref starts to count Henry out. Henry fails to make it in by the count of 10 and Orton wins by count out.
After the match, Mark Henry goes on a rampage. Henry blames the man working at the production table for playing the Big Show's music and distracting him. He destroys some of the sound equipment, and then throws the sound system operator through the air and out of sight.

Match #2: Daniel Bryan versus Ted DiBiase.
Before the match Ted promises to make Cody Rhodes proud by beating Daniel Bryan tonight. Ted knocks Bryan down with a boot. Bryan retaliates with an arm drag and then twists DiBiase's arm on the mat. Bryan whips Ted into the ropes and DiBiase leapfrogs over Bryan. Bryan gets hold of Ted's leg while Ted is in the air and goes for a submission hold, then transitions into a surfboard.
Bryan has to release the hold to avoid being pinned, as his shoulders were touching the mat. Bryan lands a pair of uppercuts then goes to the top rope. Bryan comes off the top turnbuckle, but DiBiase dodges and follows up with a drop kick that knocks Bryan to the floor.

Bryan lands several stiff kicks and DiBiase catches the last one. Ted takes Bryan down and goes for a pin, but Bryan reverses it and goes for the Lebell lock. Ted gets to the ropes forcing Bryan to break the hold. The two men exchange strikes and Bryan backdrops DiBiase to the floor. Bryan goes out to the edge of the ring apron and leaps at DiBiase.
DiBiase catches Bryan in the air and slams him into the steel post and into the announce table. Bryan appears to have an injured shoulder, and Ted unsuccessfully tries to pin him when he re-enters the ring. Ted hits Bryan in the face with a couple of big slaps and then places him on the top turnbuckle.
Ted tries for a superplex but Bryan blocks it and hits a missile dropkick. Bryan follows up with several stiff strikes including a big kick to the head. Bryan goes for a cover and gets 2. DiBiase strikes back and goes for his finishing move, but Bryan escapes and puts DiBiase in a Dragon Sleeper. Ted taps out, Daniel Bryan wins by submission!
Christian is back in Teddy Long's office and is all smiles. Now that Mark Henry has lost, Christian is the #1 contender again. Teddy tells Christian that he also has to wrestle tonight, and will face Sin Cara.

When we return, Cody Rhodes is criticizing DiBiase for losing to Daniel Bryan. Cody reminds Ted that he hasn't won a match since May 20th. Cody says that if Ted can't apply his consistency to something other than failure, he should hide his face with a paper bag, which Cody helpfully provides for him.
Runjin Singh is interviewed about Jinder Mahal and the Great Khali. Apparently Jinder married the sister of Runjin and Khali when the Singh family was poor. Jinder's family paid the dowry and has threatened to shame their family by divorcing their sister if they don't do what he says.

When we return, Johnny Curtis is painting, so we can assume he is "painting himself in a corner" because visually acting out cliches is all he does on WWE TV. It's just never quite funny enough when he does this. Maybe next week he should try to act out a slightly less well known cliche, like "getting screwed by the man." I'm just saying, it would be more interesting to watch.
The announcers briefly talk about the amazing promo CM Punk cut on Raw. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it now, you will be glad you did.

When we return, Teddy Long is in the ring for the contract signing between Christian and Randy Orton. Teddy introduces Christian first, then Orton. Christian tells us that he had his lawyer (who accompanied him to the ring) look over the contract and include a stipulation that says if he gets screwed over by a bad call by the ref, he immediately gets a rematch.
Christian insists he can and will beat Orton. Orton replies that he used to like wrestling Christian, he even used to respect him. They had to epic matches, but Orton won them both, and he's starting to become angry about all this. Orton reminds us he's always had anger management issues (which I am very grateful for) and promises to beat Christian again.
Orton signs first and passes the contract over to Christian. Christian has his lawyer look it over and then signs it...or he tries to. Apparently Christian's pen isn't working, and as he shakes the pen in frustration, Sheamus runs into the ring unexpectedly and blindsides Randy Orton.
Christian apparently thinks Sheamus won't attack him because they are both evil, but Sheamus knocks Christian and Orton out with a Brogue kick for each of them. As Christian and Orton lie unconscious, Sheamus picks up the contract and tears it up. Sheamus walks to the back as Smackdown goes off the air.
