Josh lets Daniel Bryan speak first, but he is quickly cut off by Cody Rhodes, who is followed by Wade Barrett. Predictably, each of them tells us they intend to win the Money in the Bank ladder match. Before anyone else gets a chance to make the same claim, Sheamus charges into the ring with a steel chair and chases everyone out.
Sheamus then tells us that HE is going to win the Money in the Bank Ladder match and cash it in that night to win the title from the winner of the match between Randy Orton and Christian. Sheamus also tells us he'll beat Christian for the 500th time and then calls Christian a "scrawny, malnourished, googly eyed homely little weasel".
Christian comes out and reminds Sheamus that this "scrawny, malnourished, googly eyed homely little weasel" beat him before Randy Orton punted him in the head. He calls Sheamus Ronald McDonald and tells him he is going to beat Orton because his contract stipulates that he will be awarded the title if there is questionable officiating or if Orton gets DQ'd.
He then asks if Sheamus is capable of reading a contract. Teddy Long comes out next and makes a match for later tonight between Sheamus and Orton in a non title match for tonight's main event.

When we return, Johnny Curtis tells us that when he finally makes his SmackDown debut, he's going to take the cake. He then takes some guys birthday cake from him. He blows out the candles, but they're the kind of trick candles that don't stay out. I thought he was going to have his cake and eat it too. Of course, I mean "have" and "eat" in a sexual way.
I'm not sure many people would find out funny or arousing if Johnny Curtis were to make sweet sweet love to a birthday cake, but it would have to be an improvement over these lame puns he makes every week. I love lame puns (you know who killed Captain Crunch? Serial killer. Sound it out if you didn't get it) but this has been too lame for too many weeks in a row.
Next we see a recap of the John Cena/Vince McMahon confrontation on this past Raw.

A good show tonight, with 7 matches in total. It probably would have been even better if there were just 4 or 5 matches and they were longer, but I can't complain about a wrestling show that's over 90% wrestling. I know TNA says "wresting matters", but on Smackdown tonight, it mattered a lot more, even if they didn't call it wrestling.
