The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Nashville Tennessee. After recaps of Christian's recent title win and his only slightly more recent title loss, Christian himself makes his way to the ring. Christian says he isn't here to make excuses or to blame Teddy Long. He even says he agreed with Teddy's decision to make Christian defend his title with no time to prepare after having just won it earlier that same week in a ladder match.
Then he congratulates Randy Orton, telling the fans that Randy didn't do anything that Christian wouldn't have done to. Christian also says that he can't wait for his rematch in two weeks, because after last week's match, Christian is convinced that if he is 100% and prepared, he can beat Orton.
Sheamus comes to the ring to say he agree with Christian that Teddy Long made the right call last week. Sheamus liked the decision because he loved watching Christian's face as his dreams were crushed.
Mark Henry comes to the ring next and says that while we can all agree that it was great seeing Christian's dreams crushed, the fans don't want to see a red headed step child that talks funny, they want to see Mark Henry. The crowd boos and Sheamus laughs at Henry.
Sheamus then asks if the crowd would like to see Sheamus versus Mark Henry, then asks if they'd like to see Sheamus and Mark Henry in a handicap match against Christian. They both eyeball Christian, who decides to make the first move and attacks Seamus and Henry.
Henry and Sheamus beat Christian down until Randy Orton comes to the rescue. Together, Randy and Christian knock Sheamus and Henry out of the ring.

Tonight it will be (obviously) Christian and Randy Orton versus Mark Henry and Sheamus. After Teddy leaves, Christian thanks Orton for coming out to help him earlier. Orton says he did it for his own reasons; he did it because Christian said that if he's prepared and 100%, he can beat Orton. Orton wants to prove to Christian that he is the better man in two weeks, and he doesn't want there to be any excuses.

Sin Cara hits a dazed Daniel Bryan with a top rope moonsault side slam for the win.
After the match, Chavo is celebrating, but Sin Cara seems agitated. He just noticed on the replay that Chavo interfered in the match; he didn't see Chavo's interference initially. During the entire match, Chavo insisted that he likes Sin Cara, because he thinks Sin Cara has modeled his wrestling style after Chavo's.
I really never thought Chavo was a particularly impressive high flyer. He can do a lot of things well, and he does some high flying stuff, but I never thought of him as the same sort of luchadore that someone like Rey Mysterio or Sin Cara is.
Chavo tries to explain to Sin Cara that he should be happy he got the help and won the match, but Sin Cara doesn't seem to have wanted the help. Sin Cara pushes Chavo to the ground and walks away.

He says people only want to hear about Michael Cole's upcoming match with Jerry Lawler, and that Divas are worthless. Just then the newest Diva, the massive Kharma (formerly known as Awesome Kong) comes to the ring.
Cole is laughing because he thinks she's going to destroy another Diva like she does every week. Layla tries to run but Cole trips her and then Kharma crushes Layla with a lifting double underhook facebuster (Implant Buster). Cole laughs at the unconscious Layla, but stops laughing when Kharma turns to face him. Cole runs away terrified back into the 'Cole Mine.' Kharma pursues but Cole locks the door behind him.
