The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Des Moines Iowa. The show begins with Christian walking to the ring. Christian is smiling as usual despite the fact that as of last week he is neither the champion nor the number one contender.
Match #1: Christian versus Mark Henry.
The two men lock up and Henry pushes Christian down. Christian gets back up and goes behind Henry to put on a waist lock. Henry gets out of the waist lock by hitting Christian with an elbow to the head. After an Irish Whip Christian lands a couple punches. Mark Henry responds by running Christian over, then beating on him for a few seconds until Christian rolls out of the ring.
Henry follows Christian and Christian rolls back into the ring; when Henry re-enters, Christian drop kicks him back to the floor. Christian then goes for a flying cross body but is caught by Henry, who throws Christian into the ring apron, then back into the ring. Both men re-enter the ring. Henry knocks Christian down with a clothesline and goes for a pin but gets only two.
Henry whips Christian to the ropes and then elevates him high in the air, causing him to crash chest first on the canvas. After beating Christian down, Mark Henry applies a nerve hold to the neck and shoulder of Christian. Christian fights his way out of the hold and gets thrown to the corner. Henry tries to hit him in the corner with a running splash, also known as "the world's strongest Stinger splash" (actually no one calls it that, but I think we should.)
Christian lands a punch, and then runs into Mark Henry to no effect. Henry whips Christian to the corner and charges; Christian gets his feet up at the last second. Henry responds with a clothesline that knocks Christian to the floor. Henry goes out after Christian, and Christian trips him into the announce table.
Christian goes to the top rope and Henry goes back into the ring. Christian flies off the ropes but Henry catches him. Christian gets away from Henry and whips him into the corner. When Henry comes out of the corner Christian hits him with the Kill Switch for the win!

When we return, Christian is in the ring with a microphone. Christian tells us that he just beat the World's Strongest Man, and that's not easy. Although he's glad he won, it's not the match he wanted for tonight. Christian then shows the footage of last week's #1 contender's match.
Christian appeared to have Sheamus beaten, but the ref didn't make the count in time because he was distracted by Randy Orton attacking Mark Henry. Christian argues that he deserves another title shot.
Teddy Long's music hits and Teddy addresses Christian. Teddy agree Christian got screwed last week, but says he can't do anything about it. Christian suggests making the title match tonight a triple threat match, but Teddy instead makes Christian the special guest referee for the match. Christian doesn't seem satisfied.

Match #2: AJ and Kaitlyn versus Alicia Fox and Tamina.
Before the match we see Natalya coaching her Divas for their match. Her advice was "try not to lose". They were probably hoping for something a little more useful, but at least she was smiling while being useless.
Kaitlyn and Tamina start the match; Tamina pushes Kaitlyn twice before Kaitlyn pushes back. Tamina lands a punch and then knocks Kaitlyn to the mat. Tamina whips Kaitlyn to the corner and tries to hit her with a running splash, but Kaitlyn gets out of the way. Kaitlyn runs into Tamina and knocks her down, then tries to roll her up. Tamina kicks out and tags in Alicia.
Kaitlyn knocks Alicia down and tags in AJ. AJ takes Alicia down with a headscissors takeover. Alicia punches AJ down and then drags her to the corner. Alicia tags in Tamina, and Tamina grabs hold of AJ by her hair. Tamina hits AJ with a body slam and a Samoan drop, then covers her for the win.

When we return, Cody Rhodes (in a suit) and his baggers are back, passing out paper bags for all the ugly fans to wear. Cody is complaining about his loss to Daniel Bryan last week. Cody claims that he didn't lose at all, because Daniel Bryan is the one that got beaten down after the match, and then had a paper bag put over his head.
Anyone who ends up unconscious and wearing a paper bag isn’t a winner, he's a loser, just like all of us. Cody tells us that one day Daniel Bryan will be sitting in the crowd with all the other ugly losers when Cody becomes WWE champion.
Matt Striker is in the back interviewing the Great Khali. Striker asks Khali why he destroyed his own brother on behalf of the mysterious Jinder Mahal last week. Striker is interrupted by Jinder Mahal, who says a lot of things in Hindi that I didn't understand, and also something about taking his first steps towards Immortality tonight. Striker tries to follow up, but Khali covers the mic with his massive hand.

Match #3: Jinder Mahal versus Yoshi Tatsu.
Squash match. Jinder lands several strikes and a vertical suplex before finishing Yoshi off with a full nelson slam.
After the match, Khali crushes Yoshi's head.

When we return, we're once again shown footage of President Obama which has been spliced with WWE produced footage to make it look as though the President is talking about "Capitol Punishment"; the upcoming Pay Per View in the US Capitol, Washington DC.
Match #4: Ezekiel Jackson versus Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental title.
Jackson pushes Barrett to the corner, and Barrett responds with a series of strikes and a headbutt. Jackson turns things around and violently beats Barrett down in the corner with a barrage of blows. Jackson hits an elbow drop and goes for a cover, getting a two count. Jackson knocks Barrett down again but Barrett responds with a knee to the face.
Barrett hits Jackson with a spinning side slam and goes for a cover, getting a two count. Wade puts Jackson in a reverse chin lock. Jackson gets to his feet and Barrett hits him with an Atomic Drop. Jackson responds by knocking Barrett out of the ring to the floor. Barrett gets back into the ring and takes a swing at Jackson, but Jackson runs over him three times. Jackson hits Wade with a big splash in the corner, then bodyslams him three times in a row.
Jackson gets Barrett up in the torture rack, but Barrett gets to the ropes and saves himself. Jackson knocks Barrett off the ring apron and Wade hits the ground hard. Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel come to the ring, threatening Jackson but not actually entering the ring. Barrett is eventually counted out, giving Ezekiel Jackson the win, but allowing Barrett to keep the title.
Barrett and fellow Corre members Slater and Gabriel consult outside the ring, and Barrett decides they should all attack Jackson. Slater and Gabriel charge into the ring, but Barrett hangs back and walks away. Jackson beats on Slater and Gabriel and they retreat.
In the back, Matt Stryker is interviewing Sheamus. Sheamus abruptly breaks off the interview when he sees Christian. Sheamus tries to suck up to Christian since Christian is now the referee. Sheamus says he thinks Christian was robbed last week, and that Teddy should have made the match tonight a triple threat.
Christian says he hopes Sheamus can fight better than he can lie. He calls Sheamus snaggletooth and says he should stop worrying about him and start worrying about Orton.

Match #5: Daniel Bryan versus Ted DiBiase.
The two men lock up and exchange multiple go behind attempts. Daniel knocks Ted down with a dropkick and goes for an early cover but gets only 1. After an Irish Whip, the two men exchange multiple quick pin attempts. The two men exchange several stiff chops and punches. DiBiase goes for a dropkick but Bryan dodges it. Bryan hits a running kick to the head and gets a two count. Cody Rhodes and his "baggers" return.

When we return, Ted is pressing his knee in Bryan's back while pulling back on his arms. Bryan gets to his feet and lands a couple stiff kicks. Ted responds with a back breaker and then pummels Bryan on the mat. Ted rolls to the floor and pulls Bryan into the steel ring post, punishing his back some more.
Ted rolls back in and slams Bryan's face into the corner. DiBiase whips Bryan hard into the corner; Bryan goes down and Ted covers him for a two count. Ted shoulder blocks Daniel into the corner repeatedly then whips him into the opposite corner. Daniel Bryan runs up the ropes and flips over DiBiase and then clotheslines him.
Bryan hits Ted with several stiff kicks and then a Frankensteiner. Bryan goes for a cover and gets two. Ted gets to his feet and hits Bryan with a vicious clothesline that flips Bryan completely over. Ted charges Bryan but Bryan sends Dibiase flying out of the ring. Bryan then flies out of the ring, hitting Dibiase with a suicide dive.
Bryan rolls Ted into the ring and exchanges a stare with Cody Rhodes outside the ring. Bryan goes to the top rope and flies at Ted, but Ted hits him in mid air with a drop kick. DiBiase tries to get Bryan in "Dream Street" (cobra clutch slam) but Bryan reverses it and takes DiBiase to the mat and locks in the Lebell lock! DiBiase taps out, Daniel Bryan wins!
After the match, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase beat Bryan down, but Sin Cara comes to the rescue. Sin Cara hits first Cody and then Ted with a hurricanrana, sending each of them to the floor.

When we return, we're shown a video package highlighting R Truth's hatred for John Cena and all the "little Jimmies." R Truth is shown destroying a merchandise table and beating John Cena by countout. Next, we see former NXT rookie and NXT winner Johnny Curtis. Johnny was supposed to have a tag team championship match with his coach as his prize for winning NXT, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. So he literally spills milk over himself and cries over it.
Match #6: Randy Orton versus Sheamus with Christian as special guest referee. Christian comes to the ring first.

When we return, the two men lock up and jockey for position along the ropes. Sheamus gets Orton in a headlock, and then slams him into the corner. Randy springs out of the corner and knocks Sheamus down with a clothesline. Randy beats Sheamus down in the corner and Sheamus rolls to the floor. Randy goes after Sheamus and they exchange several punches.
Randy slams Sheamus into the ring apron and rolls him back into the ring. Sheamus lands a few punches and a back elbow to the face of Orton. Sheamus takes the action back to the floor and slams Orton's back into the steel ring post. Sheamus knocks Orton down, then rolls him back into the ring and goes for a cover; getting a two count.

Sheamus then drags Orton to the edge of the ring apron and pounds on his chest. Sheamus re enters the ring and stomps Orton. Sheamus goes for a suplex but Orton blocks it and hits a suplex of his own. Orton hits Sheamus with a boot to the face, a pair of clotheslines, and a scoop slam.
Orton hits a back breaker and goes for a cover, but Sheamus kicks out at 2. Sheamus rolls to the corner and Orton pursues him. Sheamus knocks Orton down with a kick to the knee. Sheamus pulls himself up off the floor and onto the top turnbuckle. Randy climbs the ropes after Sheamus and they exchange several punches.
Orton hits goes for a superplex and hits it, getting another two count as a result. Randy goes for a rope-hung DDT but Sheamus fights out of it and hits Orton with a slingshot shoulder block. Sheamus goes for the pin and gets a two count. Sheamus hits Orton with a running front slam and gets another two count. Sheamus tries to set Orton up for the "High Cross" (a running crucifix powerbomb) but Orton escapes.
Sheamus hits Orton with a back breaker and gets another two count. Sheamus attempts a Brogue kick but Orton dodges, causing Sheamus to get tangled in the ropes. Orton hits Sheamus with a rope hung DDT and sets up for the RKO. Randy goes for the RKO but Sheamus pushes him off.
Sheamus again goes for the high cross and Orton fights his way out, but in the confusion Sheamus accidentally crashes into Christian. Christian looks like he may have injured his arm, or he may just be mad. Sheamus hits Orton with a Brogue kick and Orton goes down. Sheamus goes for a cover but Christian stops counting at 2. Instead of finishing the count, Christian stands up and steps back, clutching his arm in mock-pain.
Sheamus is livid and pushes Christian. Christian responds by punching Sheamus with his supposedly injured arm. Orton gets back to his feet and hits Sheamus with an RKO for the win! Orton retains his title with an assist from special guest referee Christian. Christian raises Orton's hand and congratulates him.
Orton celebrates his win, and suddenly Christian knocks Orton out with a shot to the head with the world title belt. Christian takes off his striped referee's shirt and yells "I know I can beat you" to the unconscious Randy Orton. Christian takes Orton's title and walks away with it. Christian poses with Orton's title as the show comes to a close.
