SyFy and WWE issued a press release announcing that the January 21 broadcast of Smackdown had 3.3 million viewers in total, making it the channel's most watched Friday prime telecast since July 2004.
The show did 1.45 million in Adults 25-54 and 1.27 million Adults 18-49, while averaging a 2.1 rating. Thanks to Smackdown, SyFy was number one among all cable entertainment networks in the 8PM to 11PM time slot among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.
Last week's show had 11% more in total viewers compared to the January 14 telecast.
