The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The show begins with HHH announcing that he is now in charge and intends to address the title situation on Raw and Smackdown. Raw currently has two champions, CM Punk and John Cena, who have a legitimate claim on the title. He tells us that he will make a decision on Monday regarding this problem.
HHH is interrupted by Christian, who claims to be glad HHH is now in charge. Christian claims to have been treated unfairly by Teddy Long, but feels certain that HHH will want to have a close relationship with the reigning World Champ.
HHH replies that he doesn't. In fact, HHH is insulted that Christian interrupted him. He says that while Vince had the patience of a saint and didn't mind if people interrupted him, HHH takes it as a slap in the face and he intends to slap Christian back. HHH tells Christian he will be defending his title at Summer Slam against Randy Orton in a no holds barred match.
HHH is interrupted again, this time by R Truth. Truth tells HHH about the conspiracy against him while the crowd yells "what" after every sentence. Truth orders them to stop saying "what", and of course they respond by yelling "what" even louder.
HHH even says "what" when R Truth addresses him. Truth wants to 'axe' HHH a question, and HHH says 'axe' away. Truth asks when HHH is going to deal with the conspiracies against R Truth. HHH says he has an idea, and puts Truth in a match with Orton for later tonight in the main event.
Christian offers to give Truth some advice on how to beat Orton, but HHH tells Christian that he's got a match to get ready for. Christian will be facing John Morrison next.
