The Smack is being laid Down for us tonight in Raleigh North Carolina. The show begins with Josh Matthews interviewing fellow announcer Booker T in the ring.
Josh asks Booker his thoughts about his feud with Cody Rhodes and their Intercontinental title match this Sunday at the TLC (Tables Ladders and Chairs) Pay Per View. Booker says he's going to give Cody the beating of his life and take his title from him. Josh asks Booker if he will return to the ring full time, and Booker says he doesn't know. Just then they are interrupted by Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes acknowledges that in a fit of nostalgia the crowd will probably go crazy for Booker, and that if this were a movie, Booker would win. However, Cody claims the reality is that Booker T's legs will start to feel old, the ring rust will show, and Cody will defeat Booker T. Booker asks Cody about the reality of him whooping Cody's behind, but Cody laughs him off. Cody tells Booker that he has another match with Daniel Bryan later tonight, and that if Booker interferes as he has done twice recently, he will lose his title shot and possibly get suspended.
Cody asks Booker T to get out of the ring and at the ends adds...SUCKA! Daniel Bryan's music hits and Bryan makes his way to the ring.
