One of the official WWE Twitter feeds posted a tweet today saying that Randy Orton was injured during the Smackdown tapings in Indianapolis just a few hours ago.
Orton wrestled Wade Barrett in a falls count anywhere match in the main event, a match that will air this Friday on SyFy. According to eye witness reports, Barrett threw Orton down a flight of stairs and the former champ landed badly.
The tweet says that WWE.COM will have more information when more news becomes available.
