Brock Lesnar's former employer, World Wrestling Entertainment, offered its congratulations for the new UFC Heavyweight champion in a story on WWE.COM. "Congratulations to Brock Lesnar, who becomes the first man to capture both the WWE Title and the UFC Heavyweight gold," read the caption under a photo of Lesnar from his WWE days. UFC bought a lot of advertising space on WWE.COM leading up to yesterday's PPV. "For his part, Lesnar took the encouragement of the WWE Universe and the hard lessons forged during his fiery time at WWE and showed UFC and the world why he is not only a man of mettle but also a former three-time WWE Champion."
